Slavec Organic Farm

Between April and November, they offer fresh organic goat’s milk, quark, cheese, young cheese and grilling cheese, as well as ice cream made from organic goat’s milk called “Mali knez”. Fresh organic raspberries are available from the end of June until October, and some raspberries are processed into raspberry juice or organic apple and raspberry sparkling fruit wines. The farm also sells organic free-range eggs. Under the brand name DOMAČA PAŠTA these eggs and organic flour are used to make egg pasta, which is dried naturally and packaged by hand. They also offer durum, spelt, buckwheat, kamut, wholemeal, coloured and spinach pasta. The bees collect honey and pollen, and what they bring back is used to make propolis and natural beeswax candles.

The educational beehive is also accessible to the physically handicapped.

The farm welcomes groups of children and young people to show them how work is done on the farm and how fruit, vegetables and milk are processed. The visitors can also feed and pet the animals. Groups can also enjoy tastings of their farm products.
