Ernest Penko Beekeeping

Ernest Penko is a beekeeper and honey evaluator who has been friends with bees in the unspoilt nature below Sveti Lovrenc for more than 40 years. His beehives stand right next to the forest, far from large farming areas. Ernest uses only sustainable methods to produce honey, which is reflected in the quality of the honey and his other bee products. His products are labelled Slovenian honey with a protected geographical indication.
