Medičina Beekeeping

Medičina is a family beekeeping business. The colonies are located in the unspoilt nature of the Brkini hills for most of the year, but during the main honey flow they are moved to forest and linden pastures around Postojna. The honey is not heated, so it crystallises over time, the pollen is dried at very low temperatures and the royal jelly is frozen immediately after harvesting. This way, all the vitamins, minerals and enzymes are preserved.
