Childhood play, family tradition and life near the forest awakened a creative streak that Helena and her husband Tomaž express by designing and creating products from wood and cotton. They produce didactic materials for schools and kindergartens, useful and decorative home accessories, simple toys and practical textile products. They are convinced that what is available locally is best, so they use wood from the Bloke Plateau. They avoid artificial finishes so the wood shines through in its natural colours. Some products proudly bear the Bear Friendly label. Each product is handmade and unique. The name “Čez Les” means crazy, so their products are playful, simple and original.
