Tour inside the underground fortress of the Alpine Wall at Primož

In the 1930s, the Italian army built massive underground fortifications, barracks and warehouses in the utmost secrecy.  

The fortress is reached by a thematic and educational trail connecting the Park of Military History, the remains of the military training ground at Kota 110 and the observation platform on the Primož hill. Along the way, you'll see information boards, and inside the fortress you'll discover rooms with tanks, ventilation systems and soldiers' quarters, and walk through 500 metres of fortified underground tunnels with a guide.
