Sounds of Nature
What if you explored nature with your ears instead of your eyes? From March to the end of October, join Andreja Košir on a unique walk to Lake Cerknica or Rakov Škocjan. Equipped with recording equipment and a variety of microphones, you’ll discover the hidden soundscape of nature.
The whisper of the wind, birdsong, flowing water, ants in their anthill, and even the sounds of trees and beneath the ground invite you to slow down and experience the natural world in a new way. As you listen and record, you’ll create your own unique audio diary of a day spent in nature.
Two experiences are available. Hidden Sounds of Nature is designed for individuals and small groups who wish to immerse themselves in the art of field recording. The Family Sound Walk is tailored for families with younger explorers and is suitable for two adults and up to three children. At the end of the experience, every participant receives a lasting souvenir – a USB flash drive containing the sounds they recorded themselves.
