At Bajer Estate, in the heart of the Loška Valley, you’ll discover the story of an organic farm whose roots stretch back more than 300 years. Surrounded by a lake, an old mill, a sawmill, a gentle stream and peaceful countryside, the estate invites you to slow down, experience traditional skills and find peace.
The estate offers authentic experiences for small groups, family gatherings, corporate events and anyone seeking a genuine connection with nature, traditions and regional flavours. Your visit may include a tour of the farm, walks in nature, cycling, guided excursions, discovering medicinal herbs, preparing herbal teas and infusions, and sensory experiences inspired by the elements of water, air, fire and wood. A special emphasis is placed on preserving traditional knowledge.
Complete your visit with outstanding local cuisine, including tasting the estate’s dry-aged Wangus beef. A selection of meat products is also available to purchase. Guests can stay overnight in the old farmhouse or in the former sawmill, which offers shared accommodation for up to ten guests in a unique summer setting.
