Summer Museum Night 2026 at DINA Pivka Centre

The Pivka Tourism Institute is once again joining the nationwide Summer Museum Night initiative, when museums, galleries, exhibition spaces and other public venues across Slovenia open their doors wide and offer visitors free evening admission until midnight.

The event will take place on Saturday, 20 June 2026, from 6:00 PM to midnight, with free admission to the DINA Pivka Centre throughout the event.

At 6:00 PM, you are invited to join a guided tour of the DINA Large Carnivore Centre entitled:

What Do Large Carnivores Do in Summer?

The guided tour lasts approximately 90 minutes and is suitable for families with children. Advance registration is required via the registration form.

Visitors can also enrich their experience by exploring:

→ the photography exhibition Living with Bears

The project is co-financed through the LEADER/CLLD measure from the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD).
