Cycling for heatlh

The ride combines cycling, healthy living and awareness of important public safety locations around the town. Participants will cycle through Postojna, visiting several automated external defibrillator (AED) locations. At one of the stops, there will be a short demonstration on how to use an AED.

The ride will conclude with a relaxing stop for lemonade or coffee at one of Postojna's newest cafés.

The rides are suitable for anyone who is confident riding a bicycle safely in traffic and would like to discover Postojna from a different, more personal perspective. All three rides will be led by licensed cycling guides from Bike Slovenia.

Participation is free of charge, thanks to the Green Karst Regional Mobility Centre.

Meeting Point

For all three rides, participants will meet in front of the Sustainable Mobility Centre in Postojna.

Meeting time: 5:45 p.m. Departure: 6:00 p.m.

A roadworthy bicycle A cycling helmet (mandatory for all participants) Suitable clothing Sufficient drinking water

Registration is required to ensure smooth organisation, a high-quality cycling experience and the safety of all participants.

Children and participants under the age of 18 may join the rides only when accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

In the event of bad weather, the rides will be postponed. All registered participants will be notified accordingly.
